FAQ

PRINT EDITIONS

Who prints Alison Friend's Limited Edition prints?

Fine Art Limited Edition prints are printed by KLEIN. They handle all the printing, fulfilment and shipping. Alison hand signs each of them, which means it can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive an order.

Can I get a print once it's sold out?

If a print says it's SOLD OUT it means it cannot be printed again in the exact way. The print is limited and once sold out cannot be re printed. Sometimes Alison has reoccurring characters in her paintings, so signing up for the mailing list is the best way to stay in touch with the latest releases.

Where can I buy authentic Alison Friend prints of any kind?

You can buy through Alison's shop, alisonfriend.com or through the galleries listed in the Galleries section below.

We do NOT sell through Facebook, Etsy, Instagram or any other site claiming to have Alison's prints. If YOU are ever unsure please email Alison's agent Alina Shriver at
alinamshriver@gmail.com as she is faster with a response - while Alison's always painting!

Do you use archival, environmentally friendly materials?

All the prints are on archival paper which will give you many years of enjoyment. We strive to use the best environmentally friendly materials and methods for all that we do. This can be difficult when printing original works, but our printers are committed to using environmentally friendly materials where possible.

SHIPPING

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

This depends on a lot of factors.

Limited Edition hand signed prints depend on Alison's signature and these may take a bit longer. Sometimes we can print and sign many editions prior to their release, but we cannot predict which prints will be the most popular, so some prints are made to order following your purchase.

Typically our wonderful team (yes we need a team to help us!), say print editions can take between 2-4 weeks to receive.

How can I track the progress of my order?

Once your print order has been dispatched, you should receive a dispatch notification together with the tracking number for your package.

Feel free to email alisonfriendartist@gmail.com and someone will respond in a timely
manner. The printers are closed on Saturday and Sunday - if you send an inquiry over the weekend then you might have to wait until the following week for a response.

What shipping options do you offer?

We ship with DHL Express, UPS and Royal Mail. The cost of shipping will vary according to your country of residence.

Do you have a return policy?

Buying art is a personal choice. Please be sure when you are purchasing you are 100% clear you would like the print.

Once the order is fulfilled and shipped it's difficult for us to take back the order due to it being certified and allocated to you.

Who is responsible for payment of duties and taxes?

The payment of duties and taxes are the responsibility of the receiver. Please note that you will be subject to your country’s policy on imported goods.

If your country requires specific details to import goods (such as an ID number or tax ID, it would be helpful if you could make a note on your order so that we can include this with the shipping documentation, which will help to speed up your delivery. Please notify us using the contact page on this site to let us know if you've included extra information for shipping.

GENERAL

I've seen your work on other products, are these genuine?

If you see T-shirts, sweatshirts or paint by number products which include Alison's work, assume they are not genuine and infringers on my copyright.

Please do not support people who are dishonest and steal from artists or anyone else. If you have time, please report these infringements to Alina Shriver at alinamshriver@gmail.com - she is quick to get them to take their copies down! We take copyright infringement seriously.

Do you accept commissioned work?

At the moment Alison cannot accept any commissioned work. She loves seeing your posts so feel free to tag her @mcfriendy when you think some of her characters look like your furry friends.

When she is able to take on commissioned work again, do reach out to Alina Shriver at alinamshriver@gmail.com
